GONZALO GARFIAS
Partner
Professional Experience
Gonzalo focuses his practice on the areas of tax law and foreign investments.
Since 2016, he has served as a professor of the International Taxation – Outbound Investments course in the LL.M in Tax Management and Administration at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
Also, since 2017, he has been a professor in the Postgraduate Program in International and European Tax Law at Maastricht University in the Netherlands.
He worked as an assistant professor for the Comparative Corporate Taxation course in the LL.M in International and European Taxation at Maastricht University between 2012 and 2015.
Previously, from 2015 to 2020, he was a partner at Allende Bascuñán y Cía., leading the areas of tax law and foreign investments. Before that, from 2005 to 2015, he was an associate at the same firm.
He is a founding partner of Garfias & Cía. since the year 2020.

Since 2022 Andrés has been a professor of Tax Law at Universidad del Desarrollo.

Daniela focuses her practice on legal project management related to artificial intelligence, international investment, and knowledge management. She currently leads initiatives to professionalize the use of AI in the legal field.
From 2018 to 2024, she worked as an attorney at the law firm Allende Bascuñán y Cía., concentrating her practice on corporate and real estate matters.
Prior to that, from 2017 to 2018, she served as an attorney at the firm Zúñiga y Cía., focusing on corporate law. Between 2016 and 2017, she worked as an attorney at the firm Andreucci y Torrejón.
